Movie changed for Sept.16 Luncheon

The movie that was originally supposed to be shown at the September 16 luncheon at the Croft Farm Arts Center has been changed to "My Favorite Year."

"My Favorite Year" tells the story of Benjy Stone, a junior writer on the top rated variety/comedy show in the mid 50s (the early years). It’s a new medium and the rules were not fully established. Alan Swann, an Erol Flynn type actor with a drinking problem is to be that weeks guest star. When King Kaiser, the headliner wants to throw Swann off the show, Benjy makes a pitch to save his childhood hero, and is made Swann's babysitter. On top of this, a union boss doesn't care for Kaiser's parody of him and has plans to stop the show.

Tickets are just $3 in advance ($5 at the door) and include a pizza/salad lunch.

To purchase tickets, please call 856-488-7868 or click here to download a form.

This luncheon is sponsored by the Cherry Hill Alliance on Alcohol & Drug Abuse. Coffee donated by Melitta.
